Tank foundations and ring beams
Ring beams, tank bases, crushed rock infill and bitumen sand caps for steel fuel and water tanks, plus sub-base repairs under existing tanks.
About a dozen water tank foundations with Brockman Engineering over 25 years.
Bulk earthworks
Cut and fill, detailed excavation, bunds and trimming to design levels with GPS machine control.
More than 30,000 m³ of cut for the United Petroleum terminal expansion.
Pipelines and drainage
Water mains from 150 mm to 819 mm, DICL pipelines, pits, valves, subsurface drainage and electrical trenching, laid around live services.
About 2,000 m of water mains for the Mernda tanks.
Concrete footings and slabs
Pipe support, pile, switch room and light pole footings, manifold slabs and precast installation, set out to tight tolerances.
More than 80 pipe support footings for Ampol's Newport terminal upgrade.
Roads, hardstands and asphalt
Site and access roads, sealed roads with kerbs, hardstands, car parks and asphalt surfacing.
500 m of site roads at the United Petroleum terminal.
Bunds and remediation
Earthen bunds, bund walls and retaining walls, plus excavation and removal of contaminated fill under new foundations.
About 3,000 tonnes of contaminated waste removed for the Viva Energy T13 tank.
