Apa Worm Compressor station
Adams Civil was contracted to complete civil works on the APA worm compressor station. These included bulk and detailed excavation, 80+ concrete footings, electrical trenching, light pole installation, pile footings for switch room, hardstand, manifold slabs and drainage system.The scope included works in areas brown fields amongst live gas assets. All works were completed to high dimensional accuracy as mechanical assets left small margin for error.
United Petroleum terminal expantion
Adams Civil was contracted as the civil contractor for the United fuel terminal expansion, works included 30,000m3 plus site cut, foundations for 2 new 42m diameter fuel tanks, earthen bund and bund walls, various concrete footings for pipework and electrical assets. 500m of site roads, site grading and profiling using GPS graders and excavators.


Viva T13 Tank Construction
Adams Civil was contracted to complete Civil works on the T13 tank construction. Works included removal of approximately 3000 tons of contaminated waste. Bulk and detailed excavation, remediation of old tip site found under tank foundation, construction of new 1.9m high x 1.9 m wide upside down T ring beam. installation of crushed rock infill and bitumen sand capping. All works completed within active site terminal with no compromise to safety or quality
Ampol project Horizons Newport
Adams Civil was contracted to complete several civil scopes
for the Ampol Newport Terminal Upgrade. These included over 80 concrete pipe support footings, construction of a new
access road, hardstand, manifold slabs and drainage system.
The scope included works in areas of confined space, restricted access, in and throughout a working terminal facility. Adams Civil coordinated with Caltex and other contractors with overlapping scopes to minimize impact on the operation of the terminal.



Mernda Water tank construciton
Adams Civil was contracted to complete construction of two new
Water Tanks for Yarra Valley Water. The Project scopes involve new ring beam footings and tank bases, several MSCL water mains from 150mm to 600m diameter, totalling 2000m laid around existing services and connecting underneath the new tanks. Also included was a new retaining wall,sealed access roads with kerb, and subsurface drainage system.
These are some of a dozen such tank projects with associated pipework we have undertaken for Brockman Engineering over
the past 25 years.
Tank Rehabilitation Project (ESSO)
Adams Civil was contracted to complete the sub-base repairs under four existing 62m diameter Oil tanks, scopes included dispose of all contaminated fill, re-grade the sub-base to a cone up shape and install a 50mm bituminous sand sub-grade for a new steel floor. We also conducted repairs to the existing ring beam structure and were heavily involved with the demolition of the old floor, as well as installation of the new one.


Epping water tank construction
Adams Civil is undertook all civil works including a concrete new ring beam and tank base with bitumen base, two 819mm diameter MSCL water mains around existing services and connecting underneath the new tank, 60m of retaining wall and
a new drainage system, bitumen access road including kerbs.
Mulwala Fluoridated Water Tank (Department of Defence)
Adams Civil undertook all civil works, including earthworks, Tank footings and base, four DICL pipelines,
150mm to 375mm, totaling approximately 100m through rock, under existing mains, installation of multiple
valves, pits and connections to existing services.
